Our Story
Founded on Faith. Built by a Family.
In 2003, Dr. Yelena V. Solodyankin founded Enlightium Academy alongside a passionate team of Christian educators. Inspired by her own upbringing — where education was a cherished priority — Dr. Solodyankin witnessed firsthand the profound impact a strong educational foundation has on a child's future.
What started as a single online school has grown into the Enlightium School System Agency (ESSA), a fully-accredited system that includes Enlightium Academy, Enlightium Prep Online with campuses, and Alliance school programs across the U.S.

At Enlightium Prep Online, rigorous academics and electives are driven by a Biblical worldview to meet our accreditation standards. Our committed Christian educators seek to instill in students the values and skills described in our expected student outcomes.
Spiritual
Students are equipped to live out their Christian faith through prayer, the study of Scripture, service to the church and society, and realizing their unique gifts.

Enlightium is a Christian school. We teach every subject from a Christian worldview, and families who enroll should know that biblical faith is not incidental here — it shapes what we teach and how we teach it.
